There was a time when the textile industry grew hand in hand with water from which is drew the energy it needed to operate.
Effet passementeries is set up in Saint Paul en Jarez at the foot of the Regional Pilat Park, in one of these former water plants. This protected heritage is made up of stone buildings and rectangular-shaped yards, surrounded by abundant greenery.
